Working Principle
The synchronous panel cabinet of the diesel generator set collects the voltage, frequency, phase and other signals of the generator and the power grid in real time through the controller. The controller analyzes and processes these signals and compares them with the preset synchronization conditions. When the synchronization conditions are met, the controller will issue a closing command, and connect the generator to the power grid or other generators through relays and switching elements. During the parallel operation process, the synchronous panel cabinet continuously monitors the operating parameters of each generator, automatically adjusts the output of the generator according to the load situation, and realizes the reasonable distribution and balance of the load. At the same time, when an abnormal situation occurs, the protection device will act quickly according to the instructions of the controller, cut off the circuit, and protect the safety of the equipment.
Components
- Controller: It is the core component, responsible for monitoring, calculating, and controlling the synchronization process of the generator. For example, the quasi-synchronization controller can automatically adjust the operating state of the generator according to the preset algorithms and parameters.
- Measuring Instruments: These include voltmeters, frequency meters, phase meters, etc., which are used to display the relevant parameters of the generator and the power grid, enabling operators to intuitively understand the operating situation.
- Relays and Switching Elements: For instance, the synchronous monitoring relay is used to detect the phase difference and send out a signal allowing grid connection. There are also various control switches, circuit breakers, etc., which are used to realize the closing and opening of the generator as well as the on-off control of the circuit.
- Power Module: It provides a stable working power supply for the synchronous panel cabinet. Generally, it has overcurrent, overvoltage, and undervoltage protection functions to ensure the reliability and safety of the power supply.
- Human-Machine Interface: Usually, it is a liquid crystal touch screen or display screen. Operators can perform operations such as parameter setting, function selection, checking the operating status, and alarm information through the interface. It has a user-friendly interactive interface, which is convenient to use.
