Automatic Transfer Switch Cabinet (ATS Cabinet) is an electrical device used for automatic switching between two power sources. Working Principle
The core function of an ATS Cabinet is to automatically switch between two power sources to ensure continuous power supply to the load. The working principle is as follows:
Normal Operating Mode:

When the main power source (utility power) is functioning normally, the ATS Cabinet connects the load to the main power.

Meanwhile, the ATS Cabinet continuously monitors the status of the main power source.
Switching Mode:

When the main power source fails (such as power outage, undervoltage, or phase loss), the ATS Cabinet detects this change and automatically switches to the backup power source (such as a generator) within a short period.

The switching time is typically between a few milliseconds and several seconds, depending on the design of the equipment and the specific application scenario.
