Water pump control cabinet
The water pump control cabinet is an electrical device used to control the operation of water pumps, which is widely applied in various scenarios where water pumps are required for liquid transportation.
Working Principle
Starting Control: When the operator presses the start button or sends a start command through a remote control signal, the contactor coil in the control cabinet is energized, and the contacts close, connecting the power supply to the water pump motor, thus enabling the water pump to start running.
Operation Control: During the operation of the water pump, various sensors (such as pressure sensors, level sensors, etc.) are used to monitor the operation parameters of the system in real time. The intelligent controller compares these parameters with the preset values and automatically adjusts the operation status of the water pump. For example, in a constant pressure water supply system, when the pressure in the water supply network is lower than the set value, the controller will increase the rotational speed of the water pump or start the standby pump to increase the water supply pressure; when the pressure reaches the set value, the controller will reduce the rotational speed of the water pump or stop some of the pumps from running.
Protection Function: When faults such as overload, short circuit, phase loss, under-voltage, and over-voltage occur in the water pump motor, the thermal relay, circuit breaker, or intelligent motor protector will act promptly to cut off the circuit and protect the motor and the water pump equipment from damage. At the same time, the fault signal will be fed back to the operator or the monitoring system through indicator lights or communication interfaces.
