Functions
 
  • Centralized Control: Integrate the control functions of multiple electrical devices into one cabinet, which facilitates operators to centrally manage and control these devices. It enables operations such as starting, stopping, speed regulation, and reversing of the devices.
  • Protection Function: It has functions like overload protection, short-circuit protection, undervoltage protection, and overvoltage protection. When abnormal situations occur in the electrical devices, it can automatically cut off the circuit to protect the safety of the devices and personnel.
  • Signal Indication: Through components such as indicator lights and display screens, it shows the operating status of the devices, such as whether the power supply is connected, whether the device is running, and whether there are any faults. This allows operators to promptly understand the working conditions of the devices.
  • Interlock Control: It can achieve interlock control among multiple devices, ensuring that the devices operate according to the predetermined sequence and logic, and avoiding safety accidents or device damage caused by improper operating sequences of the devices.
 
Components
 
  • Control Switches: Such as push-button switches and transfer switches, etc., are used to manually operate the starting, stopping, and switching of the working modes of the devices.
  • Relays: They are used to control the on-off of the circuit, realize the conversion, amplification, and control of signals, and can also be used to achieve interlock control among devices.
  • Contactors: Mainly used to control the starting, stopping, and forward and reverse rotation of high-power devices such as motors. They can reliably connect and disconnect the circuit under high voltage and large current conditions.
  • Fuses: They play a role in short-circuit protection in the circuit. When a short circuit occurs in the circuit, the fuse element of the fuse melts rapidly to cut off the circuit and prevent the electrical devices from being damaged due to a short circuit.
  • Thermal Relays: Used for the overload protection of motors. When the motor is overloaded, the heating element of the thermal relay heats up, causing the bimetallic strip to deform and push the contacts to act, cutting off the control circuit and stopping the motor.
  • PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) or Single-chip Microcomputer: For some complex control tasks, PLC or single-chip microcomputers can be used for programming control to achieve automated logical control, data processing, and communication functions.
