Working Principle
The working principle of the soft starter cabinet is based on the thyristor voltage regulation technology. When the motor starts, the soft starter controls the conduction angle of the thyristor to gradually increase the terminal voltage of the motor, making the starting current and torque of the motor rise gradually according to the set curve, thus achieving the soft start of the motor. During the operation of the motor, the soft starter adjusts the conduction angle of the thyristor in real time according to the load condition of the motor, maintaining the terminal voltage of the motor at an appropriate level to achieve energy-saving operation of the motor. When faults such as overload, overcurrent, overvoltage, and undervoltage occur in the motor, the protection circuit in the soft starter will quickly detect the fault signals and cut off the power supply of the motor by controlling the turn-off of the thyristor to protect the motor. Meanwhile, the control circuit in the soft starter cabinet will display the fault information through indicator lights or other means, enabling the operator to troubleshoot and deal with the faults in a timely manner.
