Explosion-Proof Box
EX explosion-proof box is a special equipment used in explosive hazardous environments to prevent electrical equipment from causing explosions.
Working principle
Explosion proof type (Ex d): Components that may generate sparks or arcs are placed inside a sturdy explosion-proof enclosure. In the event of an internal explosion, the enclosure can withstand pressure and prevent the explosion from spreading to the external environment.
Enhanced safety (Ex e): Measures are taken to improve safety on equipment that does not generate arcs, sparks, or dangerous high temperatures under normal operating conditions, such as increasing electrical clearances and creepage distances.
Positive pressure type (Ex p): Fill the interior of the cabinet with protective gas to make the internal pressure higher than the external pressure, preventing the entry of flammable and explosive gases from the outside.
Internal layout: The internal electrical components are installed on dedicated mounting boards or brackets, with a reasonable layout and standard spacing, making it easy to install, maintain, and repair.
