Soft start control cabinet Working Principle
It controls the starting of the motor by means of power electronic devices such as thyristors. During startup, the conduction angle of the thyristor is adjusted so that the voltage and speed of the motor gradually increase. After the motor reaches the rated speed, the thyristor is fully conductive, and the motor operates normally. This method limits the starting current, reduces mechanical stress, and extends the service life of the motor.
- Main Circuit: It includes power inlet lines, circuit breakers, soft starters, contactors, thermal relays, and motors. The circuit breaker protects the equipment, the soft starter adjusts the voltage and current, the contactor switches the operating state, and the thermal relay prevents overload.
